What are MySQL “Views”?
In MySQL, a view consists of a set of rows that is returned if a particular query is executed. This is also known as a ‘virtual table’. Views make it easy to retrieve the way of making the query available via an alias. The advantages of views are:
Simplicity
Security
Maintainability
MySQL view It is a virtual table. Like the real table, the view is also composed of columns and rows, but the view does not actually exist in the database. The data of rows and columns comes from the tables used in the query defining the view, and is dynamically generated when using the view. Only the definition of the view is stored in the database, not the data in the view. These data are stored in the query defining the view Query the referenced real table. When using a view to query data, the database will retrieve the corresponding data from the real table. Therefore, the data in the view depends on the data in the real table. Once the data in the real table changes, the data displayed in the view will also change. The view can select information useful to the user from the original table, which is useless to the user, or Information that users do not have permission to know can be directly blocked, which is similar to filtering. This not only simplifies the application, but also ensures the security of the system
