Open vSwitch is an Apache-licensed software networking stack designed to provide a standard set of features across hypervisors and operating systems for virtualization, with reusable configuration.

Potential integration with Quantum/Neutron. Reuse of existing Open vSwitch development and knowledge base. Mobility of network state for VMs.
