My app of wallpapers, using Electron!


This is a Node.js module available through the npm registry. It can be installed using the npm command line tools.

npm install daysplash --save


npm run start


  • electron: Build cross platform desktop apps with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • get-res: Get ten most popular screen resolutions
  • jformat: Python function str.format for JavaScript
  • remove: Sync and async rm -r.
  • request: Simplified HTTP request client.
  • os-tmpdir: Node.js os.tmpdir() ponyfill
  • request-promise-native: The simplified HTTP request client 'request' with Promise support. Powered by native ES6 promises.
  • resolutiondppx: Get the pixel-based resolution of the host device.
  • unsplash-source-node: Wrapper for the Unsplash Source API
  • wallpaper: Get or set the desktop wallpaper
  • graceful-fs: A drop-in replacement for fs, making various improvements.
  • jsonfile: Easily read/write JSON files.

Dev Dependencies

  • cross-env: Run scripts that set and use environment variables across platforms
  • env-cmd: Executes a command using the envs in the provided env file
  • bower: The browser package manager
