使用EMC的备份软件 NW NMM模块 恢复 MSSQL数据库

Dear all
Yes ~
We can backup our sqlserver by EMC NW NMM. That is true and NW is a very very powerful and useful backup software. Why we use
enterprse backup software ? Becase we believe that some day .when we need data , the software could bring necessary data back.
now ,. I show to you how to make it .
Yes, You need sqlserver database back no matter on original DB server or remote DB server.
So, we should confirm when the database need to restore and recover. When ??
We can use it to confirm

In order to get exact time , we need to turn on "networker for sqlserver". and select the database you want to restore and recover ?
By the way, before you start it , please make the Disk structure is the same as the original one.. That does not meas we can not restore
and recover database into different location, but it is easy and save way.
OK,. let`s continue,. Have you seen that image ? type "FULL" means database full backup restore time point , type "incr" means
database transaction log restore time point.
So, let us start to work. I do not like GUI tools , this way we use command.
nsrsqlrc.exe -s BACKUP -c NB1 -t "10/11/2017 02:14:14" -S normal "MSSQL:M"
-s , special backup master server name.
-c , offer original cilent name, for sqlserver it should be original database windows cluster name
-t , database restore and recover time, we can get the time information from that image .
-S normal, it means restore and recover database and open it.
when we execute the command , if there is no error show. there is only thing left is wait.

You see , after execute that command we have wait total 3651 seconds and it starts to work. 3651 seconds mean one hour.
My God, we need to wast one hour time. That is NW Bug ? I do not know,
Last thing, My enviroument is DDBOOST over TCP/IP. The restore time not only depend on database size but also relay on network

My envioument network is 1000MB , so we could estimate the MAX restore speed is 100MB/sec in theory..
