Group: Search Technology Center Asia (STCA)/Search Ads - BAC team

Title: Senior SDE

Location: Suzhou, China

The R&D of Search Ads at Search Technology Center Asia aims to build an online advertising ecosystem including users, advertisers, and the search engine. We are able to identify user needs and preferences from the user query with our leading technology and experience, by which we establish connections between the “Ad display” and “ads that match the user query.” &nbsp Not only on global market, we will make impact in Asia market and drive Microsoft online success in future.

Bing Ads China (BAC) aims to power up the Bing/Yahoo monetization in Great China Region (GCR). &nbsp Bing Ads China team is working on the following areas:

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Ads Platform - managing global Bing Ads platform for GCR local markets

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Ads Products - enabling new ads products to fulfill local markets scenarios

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Reseller Center - empowering local resellers and advertisers for effective SEM activities

Bing Ads China team is thinking globally with Bing Ads US headquarter, and acting locally with direct business partners; leveraging the rich resource from Microsoft, and retaining the agility as a startup.

We are looking for motivated and talented Senior Software Development Engineer to engage into the design and development of Bing Ads China team on local business and new Ads Product/Technology.

You will work with PM and Test teams to design, develop, and deliver quality features. You must feel comfortable operating within a fast moving research and development team. You should have great core development skills: strong passion for delivering quality products, proven track record of working in a product group, great design, coding, and debugging skills, and excellent written and oral communication. The ability to handle multiple concurrent releases and demonstrated experience driving for results in a cross-group/team project is a must.

Essential qualifications include:

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp A BS/MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp 8+ years of experience programming in C/C++/C#, Java and/or other computer programming languages preferred

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Familiar with local market and user experience

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Great problem solving skills, strategic thinking and technical skills

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Excellent interpersonal, communication and cross group collaboration skills - including interacting with external customers and partners

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Experience in building scalable, secure, high performance products and services

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Experience and success in working with ambiguity and taking risks

• &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Prior experience / knowledge of Ads serving, database, SEM, distributed computing or other backend large-scale system (two or more areas are preferred).
